For the RC-APD’s Professional Development Program another site visit was arranged for June, this time to the Green Dispensary Compounding at St Peters. This NATA-certified facility is a state-of-the-art compounding pharmacy which has grown considerably since its first inception in the late 1990s and provides a valuable service to customers who are looking for a more holistic approach to healthcare.

RC-APD team at Green Dispensary Pharmacies & Compounding with Dr Antony Condina
Dr Antony Condina partner of the Green Dispensary Pharmacies & Compounding, provided the RC-APD team of a tour the facility which includes both sterile and non-sterile labs for the production of hormones, cosmeceuticals and other pharmaceutical products which can be administered via pathways such as eye-drops, injectables, implants and lotions. Their R&D has expanded significantly in recent years, and Dr Condina’s provided our members with an excellent opportunity for Q&A to discuss not only some science, but the Dispensary’s own journey into commercialisation, and the potential for the RC-APD to work in collaboration with the Green Dispensary for some of our own products.
