Julie is working under the supervision of Chief Investigator Dr Bryan Coad, and is investigating a new way of transforming whey waste into advanced materials such as films or other biomaterials products. Once transformed into films, she tests permeability, thickness or tensile strength of the films to find out more about their properties.
