RC-APD researchers, partners and other guests gathered in the Gallery Room at the National Wine Centre on 20th February for the 2023 Symposium and Partner Day. It provided a great opportunity for our researchers to present their work, and for our industry partners to be updated on all the projects. In addition to the three speakers and their presentations, there were 12 posters covering all the current project work and these were introduced with a ‘one-minute flash talk’ by each of the poster authors.
Guests began with a light lunch on arrival during which time they were able to view the posters and catch up with various collaborators. Co-Directors Profs Tara Pukala and Marta Krasowska provided an overview of the current directions for the consortium and encouraged discussion on future possibilities for collaboration.
We were very pleased to welcome back previous Director Vincent Bulone as a special guest, together with several of our industry and research organisation partners. The afternoon session finished with drinks and refreshments which were enjoyed by all!
