The RC-APD had its first Partner Day and Symposium event on 28th October, hosted by Industry Partner Coopers Brewery in their spacious Pavilion at the Regency Park site.
The event was well attended by both State Government and Industry Partners, together with researchers from both the University of Adelaide and the University of South Australia. RC-APD students and Early Career Researchers presented their current research work during the day, which was well received.
Aside from these scientific presentations the event also provided ample opportunity for partners to engage with other RC-APD members and representatives from the Department for Innovation and Skills to discuss potential for commercial products. In addition to this, Dr Chris Colby from Colby Phillips Advisory showcased several of the commercialisation opportunities available and displayed prototypes that have already been produced. These were very well enthusiastically received and generated much discussion during the post-meeting social gathering.
Another Partner Day and Symposium is being planned for late 2022.
