Researchers, industry partners, staff and students from the RC-APD were honoured to host the SA Chief Scientist, Prof Caroline McMillen, at a ‘Commercialisation’ meeting on Thursday 16th September at the Waite Campus.
Professor McMillen listened to four of our talented young scientists while they presented their most recent achievements in RC-APD research, and then provided valuable feedback for them. The Chief Scientist then went on to share her insights and experiences in commercialisation in SA, providing both her own perspective and the historical context for South Australia.
Professor McMillen also shared the bigger picture in the form of the EXCITE strategy, a 10-year plan for the research and innovation value chain in South Australia.
